Dimapur, August 16 (MExN): Believers Church Dimapur Diocese observed the World Youth Day on August 12 at Aoyimti village, Dimapur with the theme ‘Rooted and build up in Him’ (Colossians 2:7).
The service was led by Pastor Johnnel Tep, Believers Church Dimapur Diocese Youth Leader and welcome address with prayer was said by Rev.Fr. Xuvishe Swu. The speaker on the occasion was Rev. Fr. Ritesh Kumar, Diocesan Secretary Dimapur Dioceses, who encouraged the youths to be rooted in the word of God and commit their lives to Jesus as in this generation with advancement of computer and technologies, only hard work and word of God can keep youths rooted in Christ.
Rev. Fr. Kasthang Kath, Pastoral Board Admins also exhorted the youths to contribute towards building our society we live, citing the example of selfless service rendered by East Dimapur Sumi Youths for laning the vehicles helping the traffic police to ease the traffic jam, for which every section of society should applaud their service.
Short skit was presented by Darogapather youth, special song was presented by Burma Camp youth, Ekkranipathar youth and Master Colony youth.
