Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) on Thursday welcomed the launch of air cargo services in Nagaland and termed it as ‘one of the best gift given to the business community and entrepreneurs of the State in decades’.
It said that the introduction of the services is a laudable step and a positive move towards integrating the State economy with the rest of the world at a faster pace.
The Confederation on behalf of the business community and entrepreneurs of Nagaland extended appreciation to the State government and the Department of Horticulture for the progressive step.
Such initiative deserves support from all, the CNCCI said and appealed the AAI, Air India and Indigo Airlines to provide best hassle free service to encourage the business community and entrepreneurs.
It noted that the business community and entrepreneurs have always been left wanting for proper infrastructure, marketing avenues and linkages and have, on numerous occasions, urged the government for such support to venture beyond the State.
As such, the CNCCI termed the initiative as a milestone and urged the business community and entrepreneurs to make full use of the facility that has been provided.
