Billy Graham FC, Tiemakhe, Senapati FC, Nagaland Police win

Our Correspondent Kohima | October 7   Billy Graham FC, Tiemakhe Kidima, Senapati FC and Nagaland Police today registered wins in their respective matches of the ongoing 17th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy here at the Kohima Local Ground. In the first match, Billy Graham FC trounced the Ziekezou Sporting Club by 3 goals to 1.   Both the teams were locked in goalless draw till the 1st half. In the Second half it was Aneingu who found the net and opened the account for his team Ziekezou Sporting Club in the 36th min.   The Billy Graham FC however fought hard and equalized in the 43th min through the boot of Chisie Nyusou. Avilhou of Billy Graham FC then scored twice in the 58th and 63th minute to make it 3 goals to 1. Khriemetuo of Ziekezou Sporting Club was cautioned with a yellow card for unsporting behaviour. In the second match, in a much dominated game, the Tiemakhe Kidima humiliated the Forest Colony by 6 goals to 1 with 5 goals scored in the 1st half.   The Forest Colony found an early goal in the 2nd minute through the boots of D. PaulPangmei.   However the Tiemakhe Kidima equalised in the 12th minute through the boots of Zadutol Phinyo. Thereafter the Kidima dominated the game for the whole time with Shiirhosiil Pucho scoring 4 goals in the 18th, 20th, 26th and 38th minute respectively, thus joining the other 8 hatrick scorers. Vikethozo Pucho also contributed with a goal in the 25th minute.   In the third match, Senapati FC blanked the Phesama Students' Union by 3 goals.   The first early goal for Senapati FC came through the boots of Koveo in the 8th minute. Again Koveo doubled the lead in the 21st minute through a spot kick after he was taken down in the penalty area by Kezhazelie Kuotsu of Phesama Students' Union. Kezhazelie was also cautioned with a yellow card. In the 30th minute NeruChand of Senapati FC found the net again with a header thus making it a 3 nil lead.   In a very exciting and thrilling last match played between the Nagaland Police (Blue) and Crony FC Khuzama, the match was temporarily suspended in the 19th minute due to bad weather.   Commencing back with the remaining time of the 1st half, Muluvoto Rhakho of Nagaland Police (Blue) found the net in the 30th minute of the 1st half which took them to lead. The second and third goals for Nagaland Police came through the boots of Vizorii Peseyie and Imsiimanen Jamir in the 40th and 54th minute respectively.   Crony FC Khuzama fought back hard and Onotso scoring twice for the team in the 57th and 59th minute. The Nagaland Police defences and the Custodian were kept busy the whole time. The Crony FC players created many chances in the final minutes however failed to convert any of them.   Moasosang Imchen of Nagaland Police (Blue) was cautioned with a yellow card for unsporting behaviour.   OCTOBER 8 MATCHES 1st match (11:00 AM): Nagabazar Y.O vs Headwinds FC Chiechama 2nd match (12:30 PM): Faith Sporting Club Dimapur vs Meriema Y.O 3rd match (2:00 PM): Nagaland Police (Red) vs Kigwema S.U
