BJP meetings held in Kiphire district

Kiphire, August 23 (MExN): BJP Organizing Secretary, Ananta Narayan Mishra and Bangdi Zeliang, BJP State Spokesperson visited Kiphire district on August 19 and held a Mandal executive meeting of both 59th Seyochung-Sitimi and 60th Pungro-Kiphire at Kiphire Town and Pungro Town respectively.  

Addressing the party leaders, Mishra encouraged the party leaders to be proactive and abstain from corruption to achieve the party’s prospect of forming the BJP led government in Nagaland. “BJP is not a religious party or a party that practices nepotism but works for the development of the people with constructive vision,” he stated, adding that the only goal of BJP is ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ (Collective efforts inclusive growth), said a press release from Rothrongse Sangtam, Secretary, BJP Kiphire district.  

Bangdi Zeliang, State Spokesperson, BJP apprised the gathering that BJP party is not a new subject in Nagaland; it existed since 1991 and is functioning till date. He also advised the gathering to be more practical and be cautious of the political propagandas and rumors that may infringe on the image of the party as well as develop division amongst the people, it added.  

The 59th Mandal meeting held in Kiphire Town was led by Kughavi, president 59 Mandal Seyochung-Sitimi, while at Pungro Town, Kongthrong, president, Pungro sub-division chaired the meeting.   Short speeches were delivered by Kiusumew (president PFPS) and Musumong (president GBs Union Pungro Sub-division).
