Mangkolemba, December 18 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has opened its unit at Mangkolemba on December 16 with Bendang Longkumer, President hoisting the party flag at its unit office at Zero Point Area.
Later, an inaugural programme was held at Town Hall where Temjen Imna Along, Chairman, Finance & Development Committee of BJP Nagaland insisted that BJP works within the constitution of India and that the party is not against any religion.
Imjong Longkumer, member of the BJP state Exe. Committee also said that BJP fights against corruption and sincerely works for progress and development.
The function was attended by a host of BJP members and well wishers including Jaangshilong Gonmei, Gen Secretary, State BJP, Nungsang Lemtor, President BJP Mokokchung, Mangkolemba Town Council Members, Ward Chairmen, and GBs.
