Kohima, April 20 (MExN): The State BJP unit has requested the Chief Minister TR Zeliang to accommodate the BJP legislators with suitable responsibilities in the DAN Ministry in order to serve the people and the partners. The party made the request during its meeting with the CM at his official residence in Kohima on April 20.
According to a press release from BJP spokesperson, Yanghose Sangtam, the meeting led by President Visasolie Lhoungu discussed various issues pertaining to DAN alliance and State development. The President was accompanied by party senior members and State office bearers.
The BJP unit also urged the Chief Minister to reconsider the deprivation and accommodate the BJP party workers with various assignments deemed fit. It also urged that the projects/proposals of the party be considered under CSS or NEC/NLCPR/ Article 275 or schemes during the financial year.
The Chief Minister, the release said, assured the delegates of all possible co-operations in strengthening the alliance and at the same time urged the BJP unit to work cohesively, keeping in mind the top priorities for the development of the State.
