Block Convergence Action Plan meeting held

Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): Block Convergence Action Plan meeting was held at CTC, Chümoukedima, chaired by EAC Chümoukedima Thejavizo Nakhro on September 9. 

As pre the DIPR report, the meeting was attended by Block Officers of various line departments. Under the month long Poshan Maah or Nutrition month celebration, various activities are slated for September like Poshan seminar, Awareness camp and Anaemia screening camp for Adolescent girls, Panchayat meeting and Poshan local food melas for Chümoukedima Block. Activities at the village level include community base events, mother's meetings, home visits and VHSNDs that will be conducted by Anganwadi workers in Convergence with ASHA and ANM.

According to member secretary CDPO Dimapur (Rural) Bonathung Ngullie, the action plan activities will be conducted in Convergence with Health & FW, Rural Development, PHED, RD-NRLM, School Education, F&CS at the block level where Social Welfare is the nodal department for Poshan Abhiyan.
