Mokokchung, March 30 (MExN): A book launch event was held at Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung with Alemtemshi Jamir, CEO, IDAN as the special guest on March 30.
The book titled ‘Political Participation and Political Attitude: A Study of Mokokchung District’ is written by Dr E Benrithung Patton, Assistant Professor, Department of Political science, FAC.
According to a press release issued by the Information and Publicity Cell, FAC, the book is a comprehensive book which elucidates on the nature of political participation of voters of Mokokchung district.
Alemtemshi congratulated the author and shared his opinion that such books would go a long way to help bring the required changes and reforms. Dr Abemo, Registrar, Nagaland University gave a review of the book and positively commented that it will serve as an important tool in educating people in the field of political science.
The book launch programme was chaired by Dr Elizabeth Imti, Dr Temjenwabang, Principal, FAC delivered the welcome note. A special song was presented by Tiameren Jamir while Rev Prof K Dhanbir Rai, CTC, Aolijen pronounced the dedicatory prayer.
