Book release marks National Education Day in KSCJ

Staff and others during the launching of the book organized by IQAC Kohima Science College, Jotsoma on November 11. 
 

Kogima, November 19 (MExN): In commemoration of the National Education Day on November 11, organized by IQAC Kohima Science College, Jotsoma (KSCJ), Principal, Dr Lily Sema released a book on ‘Integrated Land Use Management in the Easter Himalayas: Focus on Nagaland’ published by Akansha Publishing House, New Delhi. 

The book contains the proceedings of the International Symposium held in March, 2019 in collaboration with University of Minnesota, USA, attended by several government officials from Nagaland and Eastern Himalayas. The book highlights important researched topics relevant to benefit land use related works in Nagaland and Eastern Himalayas. 

A press release stated here that the College continues to collaborate with University of Minnesota and strives to address some of the research needs published in this book. 

During the event, the Principal, KSCJ encouraged that the college should make effort to build connection with different departments in Nagaland and contribute toward research needs and priorities existing in the region.
