Bosco B.Ed College academic year inaugurated

DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN):  Bosco B.Ed College, Dimapur, the first B.Ed college in Salesian India, had the inauguration of its academic year 2016 – 17 on July 19, in the presence of the teaching faculty, the old students and over 92 new students.  

Fr. Karthikapallil Thomas SDB, rector of Salesian College, Dimapur and chief guest of the day delivered the keynote address. Fr. Tom exhorted the students to be teachers who should teach not only through lectures but also through good example.  

Fr. Thuruthel Joseph sdb, the new principal of Bosco B.Ed College welcomed the old as well as the new students. Fr. Joseph said the profession of a teacher is still higher as the doctor and the priest themselves have to be taught by a teacher.  

Deepak Bora, senior teacher said what makes Bosco B.Ed College distinguished as an institution is not the big beautiful building but the dedicated service of the teaching staff and the hard work of the students. He encouraged the students to continue bringing goods results as their predecessors have done. Fr. Philip Lotha compered the programme.
