Youth perform at the ‘Bosco Sing Out 2017’ contest at Salesian College of Higher Education on September 3. Dimapur, September 3 (MExN): Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) organized ‘Bosco Sing Out 2017’ in its campus on September 3. Around 350 youth in and around Dimapur participated in the competition that lasted for 2 hours and 45 minutes, according to a press release from Fr. Christudoss, Youth Director, SCHE. Divided into English and Hindi sections, around 12 groups competed in the English category while 5 groups participated in the Hindi section. The winners in the English section were Samaguri as first, Zeliangrong second, and Hilda Youth Centre third. In the Hindi section, Lahorijan emerged first, Khatkhatti and Singrijan bagged second. The judges of the event were TR Gaan, eminent Gospel artist, Sr. Emelda, Superior of LFS, Sr. Elizabeth, Asst. Directress of Novices of UFS. Fr. Tom Karthik, the director of the college was the chief guest at the event. He underscored the need to be motivated. Meanwhile, Fr. Christudoss, the Youth Director, encouraged the students to be visionary, with trust and enthusiasm in oneself and in the goal to be achieved.
