Brahma Kumaris commemorate 80th anniversary

Kohima, March 9 (MExN): The Kohima centre of Brahma Kumaris on March 7 organized a flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate the 80 years of services to humanity by the Brahma Kumaris, world spiritual and educational organization, at Upper PWD colony, Kohima.

  Commissioner & Secretary to Governor of Nagaland, Sanjay Kumar (IAS), hoisted the flag. The Brahma Kumaris (Kohima) meditation centre in-charge, Rupa said the organization has completed 80 years of its services to humanity in 140 countries and more than 9000 branches in the world. She stated that the main objectives of the organization are to create value based society by promoting peace and unity to the humanity. With this in mind, the centre also organises meditation and yoga activity in various districts of the state for the benefit of the public, she added.
