BSI Chümou branch organizes seminar

Chümoukedima, March 15 (MExN): The Bible Society of India (BSI) Chümoukedima Branch organized a seminar for the pastors and leaders of the churches at Yimkhiung Baptist Church on March 15. Altogether 43 pastors and leaders representing 22 churches attended the meeting, BSI Dimapur Auxiliary Secretary Rev Dr Yiepetso Wezah stated in a press release. 

Highlighting the activities of BSI, Rev Dr N Paphino, President, BSI Dimapur Auxiliary said, “BSI provides Bible at a heavy subsidized rate. It is possible with the contribution of the Churches.” Rev Dr Yiepetso Wezah shared the importance of BSI ministry. He stated that one of the main objectives is to provide Bible to everyone at affordable price in a language he/she prefers. Marwati, RM shared the role of BSI Branch and requested Churches to actively participate in the mission of ministry of BSI.

During the time of interaction, the pastors shared “their concerns and asked as how Churches can involve and contribute more towards the ministry of BSI.” 

The seminar was moderated by Rev P Tali Jamir, President of Chümoukedima Branch; Hopejoy, Pastor, Pochury Baptist Church said the opening prayer while benediction was pronounced by Adahe Neli, Pastor Mao Baptist Church.
