Kohima, April 8 (MExN): 9 NAP (IR) personnel during routine patrolling apprehended a butcher from ‘T’ Khel Market, BOC Kohima on charges of unethical business practices on April 7 around 10:30 am. The butcher was caught using fraudulent weighing scale and cheating the consumers who procured meat from him, according to a press release from PRO, Kohima Police. The accused was produced at Kohima South Police Station along with 100 kg (approx) of pork which was seized from his possession. A regular case vide Kohima South PS Case No. 0019/2016 U/S 265/266/267 IPC has been registered against the butcher identified as Bombhola Sah. He is remanded in police custody for further investigation.
