DIMAPUR, JANUARY 10 (MExN): The Chokri Area Games and Sports Association (CAGSA) held a meeting at Phüsachodü village where 30 referees and umpires turned up.
A press release from Shuyeve Kezo, Press Secretary, CAGSA informed that the association’s President, Vekhayi Ruho encouraged all referees and empires to give their best effort to conduct all matches in a true professional manner without any partiality and fear. He further assured them of the association's full support for maintaining fairness.
Venezo Chüzho, Games and Sports Secretary, Müdovehü Yhobü and CAGSA's Advisor, Vekhotsoyi Nyekha meanwhile exhorted the referees and umpires to be punctual, sincere and maintain the highest degree of professionalism and fairness in conducting matches.
Later, a separate discipline wise orientation of rules, techniques, and practical refereeing for football, basketball and volleyball was also conducted.
