Peren, July 1 (MExN): The Peren District Administration and the District Skills Committee in collaboration with Microsoft Philanthropies aim to impart skill training to women and youth of the district on the Microsoft Diversity Skilling programme.
The training will have modules of digital productivity, employability skills, communication skills & entrepreneurial skills, stated a DIPR report.
Deputy Commissioner, Peren Vineet Kumar IAS has informed that after the completion of the training, all the candidates will be presented with a certificate from Microsoft. The trainees would be given hand-holding to find job placements after the training.
The training eligibility age group is between 16-35 years and the course duration will be 40 -140 hours depending on the curriculum and those who can access the training are women and youth.
DC Peren also informed that the training venue will be intimated later and the deadline for submission of application is given by July 15. The applicants can send their applications both online and offline.
Interested candidates can mail the applications to dcperen.ngl@nic.in or submit it to the nearest administration office.
The application format includes name of the applicants, address, Phone no., Age, Sex N/F, Educational qualification, Employment status, do you have a smartphone/laptop/Computer/access to the internet? (Yes/No), Are you looking actively for a job? And Are you willing to relocate?
Further, under the Microsoft Diversity Skilling Program, similar skill training will be also imparted to school and college students. ‘We are selecting schools and colleges, private and government, who are interested to be part of this initiative and would also train their faculties or trainers from the institution, who can further take this program to the end-level beneficiaries and make it sustainable,’ the DC Peren stated.

Therefore, any educational institution, private or government, interested in imparting these skills to their students may send the filled application format to the email: dcperen-ngl@nic.in or can submit it to the nearest administrative office.
