Dimapur, August 28 (MExN): Road show for dissemination of National Entrepreneurship Award 2017 was organised by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati in Collaboration with North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Dimapur at NEISSR Conference Hall on August 28.
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has started the process for selection of the winners of National Entrepreneurship Awards 2017, who will be awarded in an awards ceremony on November 9, 2017.
The awardees will be awarded Rs. 10 lakh (organizations) and Rs. 5 lakh (individuals/enterprises), a trophy and a certificate. NEAS was instituted in 2016 by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of India to promote entrepreneurship. The main focus is to promote local production and job creation and to recognize and honour entrepreneurs. This award could help to promote entrepreneur in the North East Region of India.
The call for application has been started on 25-07 -2017 and the last date of receipt of application is 15-09-2017. To fill the application form and for more information visit www.neas.gov.in
A press note stated that the facilitators of the road show, Dr. Toli H. Kiba, Assistant Professor, NEISSR and Dr. Razdan Sarim Rahman, Assistant Professor, TISS, Guwahti requested the 120 participants to generate awareness and promote the awards by sharing information with all possibilities of Institutions/ organisations levels and individual level.
