Wokha, February 4 (MExN): The candidate declaration programme of Mhathung Yanthan from 39 Sanis Assembly Constituency was held at Lakhuti village playground on February 4.
A press release received here stated that speaking at the programme Yanthan stated that “Sanis block is the heart of the Wokha district” and it needs major infrastructural development.
He also shared his vision and informed the gathering that many projects and developmental activities are in pipelined.
He lamented that Sanis region is an economically backward area and “lacks various basic development as per the social economic survey done by an expert under his initiative and the state government has taken into cognition.” He reminded the gathering that he will selflessly and committed to serve for the greater interest and the welfare of his assembly constituency.
The release also stated that various supporters, well-wishers, and party workers from the Wokha region and assembly participated in the programme.
The dedication prayer was said by Rev Ezanbemo Odyuo, Pastor, Lakhuti Baptist Church.
