Tuli United FA defeated Noklak FC 3-2 at the ongoing Capt Kenguruse Memorial Football tournament here.
Illung fetched a hat-trick for Tuli United in the 35th, 71st and 83rd minute and sealed victory for the team.
Noklak FC gained goals through Peshe and Thengem in the 7th and 63rd minute respectively.
Vanguard FC downed DGP Kohima 6-5 through penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 draw within the allotted full time.
During the play, Akhio Sumi netted a goal for DGP Kohima in the 66th minute and the equalizer for Vanguard FC came through Mathew in the 71st minute.
Green FC defeated Surayin FC 6-2.
Tova contributed early goal for Green FC in the 16th minute who later confirmed hat-trick after scoring two more goals in the 36th and 51st minute.
Kimiyieto also contributed two goals in the 40th and 58th minute while Shiyeto netted another goal for the team in the 55th minute.
James and Kisumew netted a goal each to Surayin FC in the 28th and 43rd minute respectively.
Youth Association Merangkong beat Pochury FC 2-1.
The winning goal for Youth Association came through Imtimayang and Ilonger in the 30th and 59th minute respectively.
Rhongusho netted a solitary goal for Pochury FC in the 28th minute.
Laimcihm FC defeated Zisaji XI Club 3-1.
Shunted connected two goals for Laimcihm in the 29th and 46th minute while Nyakshing scored another goal for the team in the 17th minute.
A lone goal for Zisaji came through the booth of Apeu in the 69th minute.
In the last match of the day, Friends United Wokha registered win against the rival Nine Zone Peren 11-10 via tie breaker after the match held 3-3 draw.
During the play, Zuben Kithan, Ekonthung Kithan and Subenthang connected a goal each to Friends United in the 12th, 13th, and 39th minute respectively.
For Nine Zone, it fetched three goals through Pausihube in the 19th and 58th minute and Apeu Irangbe in the 85th minute.
