Dimapur, September 11 (MExN): National Institute of Technology (NIIT), Dimapur organised a ‘Career Guidance on Information Technology’ seminar at MGM College, Dimapur on September 8. NIIT is a leading skills and development cooperation offering training and development solution to individuals, enterprises and institutions.
The programme started with an invocation prayer by Limatula Aier, followed by an introductory session by the faculty members of NIIT Dimapur.
Daniel Changkiri, centre in charge, NIIT Dimapur Centre advised the students to acquire quality education and expand their knowledge by exploring one’s self interest which will enable them to understand them their strength and accordingly follow a goal. He added students these days blindly follow trends and end up stranded and confused. He also encouraged students to join private sectors.
The second session was lead by Mughato Swu, Marketing and Business Executive, NIIT Dimapur Centre. He gave some important tips on how to prepare for online/competitive examination and encourage the students to attempt examinations and also the importance of private sectors jobs. He briefed about the BJS (Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship), its importance and its benefits. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Vice Principal, Durga Malakar.
