Dimapur, May 13 (MExN): Teammate edged past Nizams FC 3-2 at the ongoing Case Premier League being played at the Police Ground, Chumukedima on May 2. Tsujkem of Teammate opened the score with a beautiful assist from Aosanen who finished from 6 yards. He later added another to his tally by converting a cross from Tali. Nizams FC reduced the lead through a brilliant individual play by Akato to curl the ball from outside his right boot into the net deceiving the defence and the goalkeeper. Captain Moatemjen, of Teamate increased the tally after a defensive error from the Nizams FC Defense. After the break, Nizams FC continued to press but missed out on a lot of chances. Temsu tapped in after a pin point pass from Sopei. With that win, Teammate is third with 11 points. In another match, Case FC drew with Super strikers to take them to 10 points. Case FC needed a win to confirm their chances to qualify for the knock out stages. Elsewhere, G sports outclassed Stafac 3-0 with a hattrick from Imliyanger. Imli opened the account within the first five minutes and G sports continued to dominate proceedings throughout. While Trinity maintained winning momentum by blanking Natak FC 2-0. It was a must win match for Natak to qualify for the knock out stages. They however could not capitalise on a seemingly good start to the match. With the win, Trinity is now level with Nizams FC at the league table.
