Kohima, August 25 (MExN): The Catholic community of Pfüchama fulfilled their long cherished dream of having their own place of worship. The church was inaugurated by Rev. Lukaz SJ, a Jesuit from Poland, while Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, blessed the new church, a press release informed.
The Church is dedicated to St Andrew Bobola, a Jesuit saint from Poland, who sacrificed his life for faith. A relic of this saint was placed on the altar of the Church by the Bishop after its solemn dedication, the release informed. The programme witnessed a group from Poland who came to Nagaland on a pilgrimage.
