CBCMHK observes seniors’ day 2019

Kohima, August 25 (MExN): Under the aegis of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK), Seniors’ Fellowship today observed a Seniors’ Day at the Church premises under the theme, “Even to your old age and grey hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you” (Isaiah 46:3-4).
Senior Pastor, CBCMHK, Reverend Dr Vevo Phesao, speaking on the occasion stressed on the miracle, deeds and power of prayer of how Joshua prayed while capturing over the Amorites, a press release from Convenor, Senior Fellowship, CBCMHK.
He added that as per the internet sources, there was a missing night in October 1207 BC and it was both biblically and scientifically proved to be true.
Urging upon the senior citizens (60 years and above) to lead a faithful and truthful lives Phesao said that Joshua led a life of “a very good beginning and a beautiful finishing lives” and therefore everyone should opt the living system of Joshua.
Earlier Associate Pastor of CBCMHK Thujoneyi Veswuh chaired the worship service. Deacon Kerethi Vero invoked God’s blessings.
Seniors report was delivered by Senior Fellowship Convenor, Zuhucho Resuh. Men Fellowship Choir presented a song, Melhite-u Khalo pronounced offertory prayer while Yephutsolu Ruho read the word of God on Joshua 10:12.
