
Maligaon, August 28 (MExN): Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS) Sailesh Kumar Pathak under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India today held discussion with senior NFR officials at Maligaon.
A press release from Chief Public Relations Officer stated that Sanjive Roy, General Manager, NFR, Radhey Raman, Addl. General Manager, NFR and other senior officials were present.
The meeting discussed on various parameters of safe train operations and various measures were also suggested by the CCRS.
Reasons for various types of accidents that occurred recently in Indian Railways were also discussed by the CCRS. The meeting assumed significance in view of the fact that, Railway Electrification work and various types of developmental work was going on in full swing, which will increase the average train running speed throughout NFR, the release added.
A small presentation on various measures being taken by NFR to ensure safety was also shown during the meeting by the Principal Chief Safety Officer, NFR MK Agrawal.
