The Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) has conducted selection trial for the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic games 2022 at Medziphema Local Ground on August 6.

Altogether, 89 aspiring footballers participated in the trial.

The selectors consists Viphrezolie, UEFA licensed football coach, Thepfükedo Kuotsu, President CDFRA, Shiyeto Wotsa, General Secretary CDFA, Yongsen, Vice President CDFA and James Kithan, Member CDFA.

The selected players will be announced on August 8 and coaching will commence from August 9.

CDFA team will be led by Akihito Zhimomi as team manager, Thangboi Thomsong as team coach and Rovy Pheta as team physio.

Meanwhile, CDFA acknowledged Medziphema Village Youth Organisation for allowing ground for conduct of the selection trial.
CDFA also appreciated the contribution of Falcon United FC and Medziphema United FC for volunteering in making the necessary arrangements and making the ground playable.
