Kohima, June 9 (MExN): Additional Secretary & Mission Director of National Health Mission, C.K Mishra today said that high quality care service can be “rendered and implemented in providing services.”
He said this while interacting with officials of Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima (NHAK) here, where he visited every department and unit of the hospital. During the interaction, the Medical Superintendent (MS) of NHAK also stressed the urgent need of Pediatrics unit for child health, inculcating to blood separation machine and hospital management in JSSK incentives.
The NHAK authority will also put up a proposal to the Government of India for rendering better health service to the community, the MS added.
The Mission Director of NHM also made a monitoring and supervision visit to Jakhama PHC where he also interacted with the Medical officer in-charge in line of management, manpower etc. The health unit performance report gave remarkable asset in reaching out to the grass root level, a NHAK release stated.
The visit ended at Pfuchama where Mishra interacted with Village chairman, ASHA and staff of the concerned Sub-Centre.
