Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): The Central Government has notified the appointments of 5 judges to Gauhati High Courts on October 12.
According to a notification issued by the Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Kakheto Sema, Devashis Baruah, Malasri Nandi, Marli Vankung were appointed as Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. Arun Dev Choudary was also appointed as an Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court for a period of two years with effect from November 5, 2021 or after when he assumes charge of his office, the notification stated.
Their names were recommended by the Supreme Court collegium on earlier September 1.
