Certificate Course on First Aid conducted

Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): Keeping in mind the importance of the first responders in any unforeseen event and to impart life saving techniques to them, the Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch has successfully conducted a Certificate Course on First Aid for 25 police personnel from North Police Station, Kohima, South Police Station, Kohima, Tseminyu Police Station and Chiephobozou Police Station, on July 22 and 23 at Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima.
A press note received here informed that the Resource persons for the training were Kholie Dolf, M.C Member IRCSN, Dr. Kehousetuo Kuotsü, Ortho specialist, Lucy J.Tungoe, APO IRCSN and Vitoshe Achumi IRCSN. The Training commenced with an introductory speech from Zakie Kire, General Secretary, IRCSN.
The training schedule included both theory and practical on important topics on how to administer First Aid in times of any emergencies. The IRCS, Nagaland State Branch has recently launched as Certificate Course on First Aid. Any interested organization, institutions, etc may contact the Red Cross office, Kohima during office hours, the press note stated.
