Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): The Central GST Commissionerate Dimapur conducted an outreach programme on Sabka Vishwas Scheme and the New GST Return at Hotel Saramati Dimapur on November 15. 

A press note received here stated that a presentation was made on the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme which offers a golden opportunity to taxpayers for closing their pending disputes relating to previous service tax and central excise cases that are now subsumed under GST. Another presentation was also made on the new GST returns which are likely to be introduced by the Government in the next financial year. 

Joint Commissioner, CGST, Sashi Wapang Lanu, IRS appealed to all the tax practitioners to use the New Returns Trial version tool which is already available online so that taxpayers may familiarize themselves with the new format before it is launched next year. 

The programme was well attended by tax practitioners, taxpayers and members of Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations.
