Braveheart Warriors, Dhansari CC & Big Shots win
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 12 (MExN): Chümoukedima Town Braveheart Warriors, Dhansari CC and Big Shots won their respective matches at the ongoing Champions Trophy T-20 Cricket Tournament oganised by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship (NBF) Sports Ministry, Chümukedima Village on February 12.
In the first match of the day, Braveheart Warriors defeated United Brothers Club by 22 runs. Winning the toss, Braveheart Warriors took to bat, setting a target of 164/10 in 14.3 overs. United Brothers managed to score 142/7 in 20 overs. Braveheart Warriors’ Kundan was declared man of the match for scoring 72 runs.
Playing the second match, Dhansari CC won against Old Timers CC by 31 runs. Dhansari CC won the toss and elected to bat and set a target of 171 losing 8 wickets while their bowlers managed to restrict Old Timers CC at 141 for 8 wickets. Arun was declared man of the match for scoring 39 runs.
Big Shots won against 3C XI by a huge margin of 238 runs in the last match of the day. Big Shots won the toss and elected to bat setting a target of 304 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing the target, 3C XI managed to score 66 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Bedise was declared man of the match for scoring 106 runs and taking a wicket.
