Dimapur, April 1 (MExN): Officials from Nagaland government have reached Jaipur and statements of all eight children from Nagaland rescued from illegal shelter home in Jaipur have been recorded in the court. The statement of the girl who alleged rape by the owner of the home, Jacob John was recorded today before the magistrate. In a telephonic conversation, Satya Prakash, programme coordinator, FXB India Suraksha said the girl, in her statement, alleged she was raped several times by Jacob John even after his marriage to a Dutch woman. The Resident Commissioner, Jyoti Kailash said all legal formalities are complete, and the children are likely to leave Jaipur tomorrow for Delhi. Earlier, the number of children from Nagaland had been reported as seven, but during verification another child was found out to be from the state, taking the total number to eight.
