People feasting at Phuluzu-zho, Kikruma during the Chisami Feast of Joy.
Kikruma, February 14 (MExN): Chisami, an old ancestral organization of Kikruma Village today observed its Feast of Joy today here at Phuluzu-zho, Kikruma Village with mass participation in the feast as part of remembering the pioneers and elders who had preserved the age-old traditional cultures and practices since time immemorial till to this day.
With a gap of almost more than 2 decades, the festival was observed after some elders of the organization sat together for the revival of the good and healthy relationship amongst them.
Addressing the day gathering Zumosa Kezo, Retired Deputy Ranger, Forest Department reminded the people to live a truthful life by upholding the good practices that were preserved by the elders of the village in the past. He further challenged its people to pursue for competitive life in every aspect and lead a meaningful life.
A new team of office bearers was installed with Thiyiswuyo Kezo as Chairman along with 5 others for the tenure 2021-2023.
