DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 12 (MExN): The Chishilimi Village Council has extended support to the ‘Clean Election Movement’ and declared that the people in the village would not accept cash for votes from any candidate. A press release from the Chishilimi VCC, Jekuto Chishi said that this decision was made to induce a conducive, free and fair election process. This resolution was arrived at by a general consensus and not through any diktat, it stated, adding that the village also resolved to undertake a peaceful election process.
