Dimapur, August 24 (MExN): The 66kV Sovima TL power feeder will be shut down for emergency maintenance work of 132 kV Imphal-Dimapur transmission line of the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd from August 25 to 27.
According to a press release from the Dr Gam Pupu, Sr DGM, Dimapur sub-station, as per approval of the Executive Engineer (Transmission), Department of Power, Dimapur, the 66kV Sovima TL feeder will be shut down from 5:00 am to 9:00 am during shutdown day from August 25 to 27, affecting power supply in the following areas: Sovima village; Unity village; 5th mile model village; 7th mile village, Sodzulhou village; Kirha village; Darogapothar; 3rd mile ARTC; Dimapur airport; Thilixu Block-2; Chekiye Block 5 & 6; Ikishe & Diphupar-B village; Chümoukedima town; Seithekema area; Naga United; New Showuba to Vihokhu village; Old Showuba; 7th mile model village, Tenyiphe 1; Tenyiphe 2; Virazouma; Chümoukedima A; Chümoukedima village; Naga United; Shokhuvi; Vidima; and Kiyeto.
“We regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers during the proposed shut down period,” it added.
