Dimapur, January 21 (MExN): Churches Colony in Dimapur has elected its first woman Chairperson. Kuholy Chishi was elected the Chairperson of Churches Colony Council with Paul Vitsu as Secretary on January 20 for a period 5 years. Meanwhile, N. Ghoshito Achumi was nominated as the Goan Bura of the colony. The nomination and election happened during a general meeting of the land owners/house owners of Churches Colony on January 20 at the residential compound of Puloto Achumi, informed a press release from the Chairperson Kuholy Chishi. Other members to the Council will be selected/nominated based on equal representation within a period of one week, the release said.
