Climate Change Adaptation concludes in Guwahati

Trainers from different states including Nagaland after the training programme on Climate Change Adaptation which was held at IIT Guwahati from November 18 to 20.

 

Dimapur, November 27 (MExN): A three-day Training of Trainers programme on Climate Change Adaptation was held at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati from November 18 to 20. 


It was jointly organized by the Indian Himalayan Climate Adaptation Programme (IHCAP) of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Nabard Consultancy Service (NABCONS), Nagaland State Climate Change Cell- NSCCC (Climate Studies and Knowledge Solutions Centre) and State Climate Change Cells of Assam, Mizoram and Sikkim Representatives from various government departments and educational institutions from Nagaland, Assam, Mizoram and Sikkim attended the training. A press release informed that it was conducted with the objective of strengthening capacities of the officials on Climate Change and also create a pool of master trainers for autonomous replication in each state.
