Kohima, August 27 (MExN): The Department of Land Resources, Nagaland is organizing a state level watershed conference in culmination of the batch–II projects of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY-WDC) on August 28, 10:00 am at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima.
Chief Minister TR Zeliang will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Parliamentary Secretary for Land Resources & Excise BS Nganlang will be the guest of honour.
Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar will also address the conference.
The conference will be chaired by Y. Kikheto Sema, Secretary, Department of Land Resources, overview of Nagaland watershed and overview of Kohima watershed (PMKSK-Batch–II) will be given by Hoto Yeptho, Director Land Resources and Dr. Menuosietuo Tseikha, DPO Kohima respectively.
A book on LRD communiqué- special edition will also be released on the occasion. The conference will also include exhibition stall of SHGs and livelihood groups, display of flexi banners on various activities of the project.
