CMC, Wokha receives 5KVA generator & electric back up inverter

Wokha, August 29 (MExN): The Team Metamorphosis in association with a Wokha based music band ‘Diversity’ handed over a 5KVA generator and an electric back up Inverter set to the Christian Medical Center (CMC) at Vankhosung, Wokha town.

A press release from Team Metamorphosis stated that since 2016 the Diversity and Team Metamorphosis have been collaboratively raising funds through concerts for social cause, adding the profit from the concert in 2016 was handed over to the Lotha Eloe Hoho which was utilized to give shelter to the destitute. In 2017 the profit was channeled through the same to the two orphanages in Wokha town.

This year it was decided that the profit would be given to the authorities of the CMC who took over the center with Memorandum if Understanding (MoU) from the Lotha Baptist Churches Association (LBCA) after a gap of nine years of the unutilized facility.

The fund was raised through a concert held on August 15 at the Town hall, Wokha supported by the co-sponsors, well wishers and patrons of the organizers.
