CMO Phek conducts RCH camp

Phek, November 26 (MExN): Office of the Chief Medical Officer Phek conducted Reproductive Child Health (RCH) camp on November 18 & 19 at PHC Weziho.

The team comprised of Dr Vibeituonuo Mepfuo CMO, Dr Kolhitso Khalo DPO RCH/UIP, Dr Pangertemsu Gynaecologist, Dr Lanuakum DVBO, Dr Ruohuohelie DTO, Dr Limatoshi Imchen Epidiomologist, Dr John Nyuthe and nurses from DH, MMU and health units, Kutolu Nakhro, District Media Officer Phek.

Total of 28 women and 19 children were treated out of which 18 Ante-natal Check- up (ANC) and 3 post natal Check up were examined. Family planning services were also carried out of which total of 7 lap-ligation and Copper-t insertion were done.

Dropped out and left out children were also identified and vaccinated. Awareness talks on different health issues were also imparted by the team of doctors. The team also visited Government High School at Hutsu and gave talks on Iodine deficiency and its prevention, importance of its use of Iodised salt and also on other health issues.
