Coach Watinungsang to lead fast bowling camps in Maharashtra

DIMAPUR, MAY 4 (MExN): Fast bowling coach Watinungsang has been invited to conduct a series of personal training sessions and bowling camps in Maharashtra, beginning with a special engagement in Mumbai on May 10.

The Indian Fast Bowling Center, in a press statement, informed that Coach Watinungsang will first hold exclusive one-on-one personal training sessions in Mumbai, followed by a dedicated fast bowling camp for women cricketers. He will then travel to Pune for another fast bowling camp and conclude the series with a final training programme in Solapur district.

Fresh from his successful tenure as the coach of the South Africa Masters team in 2025, Watinungsang has gained recognition as one of India’s premier fast bowling coaches. His use of indigenous and innovative techniques to improve bowling speed has drawn attention at the national level, the press statement read. 

He is also noted as the first fast bowling coach from North-East India to be invited to conduct training for fast bowlers across the country, marking a significant achievement for the region. The Indian Fast Bowling Center has extended its congratulations and best wishes to Coach Watinungsang for his continued contributions to the sport.
