Coaching class for repeaters in Wokha

Wokha, September 4 (MExN): The district administration Wokha in collaboration with Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) and Department of Social Welfare under ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ conducted coaching class orientation programme for parents and students of class 10 repeaters on September 3 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Wokha. 

Chonpenthun Ezung, SDO (Civil) HQ, Wokha, in his speech exhorted the students about the success through hard work and determination, and importance of education in today’s generation. He also advocated about the rights of women and said that it is high time to include women in decision making. Further, he urged the parents to give their time and attention to their children’s education and monitor their progress. 

The coaching classes will be conducted in Wokha District Library from Monday to Friday. Dr Wonchano E Enny, Women Welfare Officer, MSK, Wokha, chaired the programme, while welcome note was addressed by Erenbeni Kikon, Sr Supervisor, ICDS, Department of Social welfare and vote of thanks was delivered by Merithung Lotha, District Coordinator, MSK, Wokha.
