Collection centre for Kholar and agri products in Chessore

Thrikyuse Sangtam, District Coordinator Micro Finance NERLP, DPMU Tuensang, inaugurating the collection centre for Kholar and agriculture products constructed at Chessore village on August 28. 

Tuensang, August 31 (MExN): In a major boost for the farmers in rural areas, a collection centre for Kholar and agriculture products constructed under Northeast Rural Livelihood Project, Ministry of DoNER, GOI funded by World Bank was inaugurated by District Coordinator Micro Finance NERLP, DPMU Tuensang, Thrikyuse Sangtam on August 28.

A press release received here stated that speaking on the occasion, Thrikyuse exhorted the Self Help Group Village Federation of Chessore village consisting of 45 SHGs to continue working with a strong vision and strive towards building a strong and sustainable future. He also lauded the Chessore village council for their immense cooperation and contribution in the successful implementation of project activities in the village.

Thrikyuse further appreciates the PFT of Chessore Block for tirelessly facilitating and guiding the community towards realization of NERLPs, with its motto ‘creating opportunities for better livelihood’.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Area coordinator NERLP, Chessore block Chancham, while invocation prayer was pronounced by pastor Chessore Baptist church Doki Allen.  Welcome address was delivered by Achimla, block project coordinator NERLP Chessore block. K. Throngkiuba, 2nd GB Chessore village also spoke at the programme.  Vote of thanks was proposed by A. Yansomong GB.
