Combined Technical Association of Nagaland formed

Says every technical graduate must register or face action

Dimapur, December 5 (MExN): An association calling itself the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has been formed in the state recently.  

A press release from the association informing this stated that CTAN was formed following a meeting on November 11 where it was agreed that technical associations in the state would work collectively under the banner of CTAN to look into the grievances of technical aspirants.  

The CTAN, according to the release, comprises of Civil Engineers' Association of Nagaland (CEAN), Graduate Electrical Engineers' Association of Nagaland (GEEAN), Association of Electronics & Communications Engineers', Nagaland (AECEN), Association of Mechanical Engineers' Nagaland (AMEN), Forestry Graduates' Association of Nagaland (FGAN), Horticulture Graduates' Nagaland (HGN), and Agricultural Students' Association of Nagaland (ASAN).  

The CTAN in this regard has stated that every technical graduate must register in their respective association. Failing to register, the CTAN stated, necessary action will be taken against those concerned.  

Furthermore, the CTAN went on to assert that it may even ‘debar’ those individuals from appearing CTSE exam under NPSC and in this regard, requested all technical graduates to contact their respective association for registration and necessary information.
