CoopSoft, cooperatives information management application launched

Kohima, December 13 (MExN): CoopSoft, an information management application of cooperatives was launched today in the office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Kohima. The application software was launched by Lithrongla G Chishi, IAS, Secretary for Cooperation, Government of Nagaland in the presence of the Cooperation department officials and staffs.  

Developed by Teth Allied Services, Nagaland to meet the MIS requirements of the department, the key features of CoopSoft are holistic information of cooperative societies at a single click of button, updated information on loan, recovery & audit of cooperatives, automated information on outstanding loans, production details of the cooperative societies, integrated SMS gateway, quick access to employee details, etc, informed a press release received here.  

While lauding the department for the development of the software, the Secretary exhorted the department to continue the positive actions it has initiated during the last one year, especially on recovery of loans, cancellation of non-working cooperative societies, development of genuine member cooperatives, etc.  

She also opined that CoopSoft will propel the department in moving ahead at a faster rate. This kind of applications should also be replicated for other departments, Lithrongla added.  

The programme was chaired by Wepe Ritse, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaland.
