Apropos the news report titled “Kohima DPDB reviews SIR, law and order situation,” published on May 27, the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) has clarified that the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll was incorrectly mentioned.
According to the clarification, the correct schedule should read: “House-to-House Visit by BLOs from August 16 to September 14, 2026, and publication of the draft electoral roll on September 20, 2026.” The DIPR has regretted the error.
