Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): The Counselling & Placement Cell of the NU: SASRD organized a career counselling workshop with the main aim to develop strong aptitude skills among agricultural graduates for various competitive examinations on June 18.

The programme was mainly targeted for the B.Sc (Honours) Agri students of NU: SASRD campus. The workshop consisted of three sessions. The first and second session was taken by Tapanjit Sinha, Head faculty, NECI Dimapur. He motivated the students to follow a consistent approach for building a strong foundation of aptitude skills for success in different competitive examinations. He thoroughly deliberated upon various techniques of mastering quantitative and verbal aptitude. Participants had gainful experience solving varied problems.  

In the third session Prof KK Jha, I/C counselling and placement sensitized the participants about various career options for agricultural graduates as well as admission to post graduate courses in food and agri business management at IIMs.

He also gave a detailed overview of admission procedure, detailed plan of exam, and motivated the students to develop strong skills for quantitative aptitude, verbal ability and reading comprehension, as well as logical reasoning and data interpretation.

Earlier, the Invocation prayer was offered by Lily, EU member and vote of thanks was proposed by Mojesh, III Yr B.Sc (Honours) Agri student.
