COVID-19: Two more recover in Nagaland 

Kohima, June 9 (MExN): Two more COVID-19 patients under treatment have tested negative, taking the total number of recoveries to 10.


The two recoveries were reported at the COVID19-19 Hospital Chedema, according to the daily Bulletin of the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), Department of Health and Family Welfare Nagaland. 


However, they are still under observation at the hospital. Earlier on June 6, the state recoded 8 recoveries in Dimapur. 


With this, the number of active cases in Nagaland now stands at 117 out of 127 infections.


Dimapur with 100 cases – 92 active and 8 recoveries, has the highest cases in the state, followed by 21 in Kohima - 19 active and 2 recoveries, and 5 in Tuensang. There is a single case in Peren.


According the Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard, out of 127 cases, there are 86 males and 41 females.


A total of 120 patients are in 18-44 age group while 5 fall under 0-17 years  age bracket. There are two cases in 45 - 64 years age group.
