CPO warns against 'unauthorized meeting'

Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has cautioned all units and villages under its jurisdiction from attending an ‘unauthorized meeting’ being convened on March 14.

According to a press release from the CPO on March 12, the organization had decided that Chakhroma Sports Association (CSA) will be merged with Chakhroma Youth Organization (CYO) and will continue to cover all activities of games and sports, wrestling, all youth activities etc. but under one umbrella.

This decision was taken in the organization’s executive meeting held on February 22 with the approval of incumbent CYO and CSA, the release added.

“However, it is reliably learnt that some vested interest individuals, totally disregarding CPO's decision, is convening a meeting on March 14,” it said, adding that all units and villages under its jurisdiction are to refrain from attending the meeting, as it is against the decision of CPO.
