Kohima, May 12 (MExN): The Noklak District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting held on May 12, among others, approved for the post-creation of an Information Centre headed by an Information Assistant under the Department of Information & Public Relations at Panso Headquater.
The approval was thereafter recommended to the concerned Department during the meeting held at DCs' Conference Hall, Noklak under the Chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB Noklak P Longon, informed a State DIPR report. MLA Benei M Lamthiu also attended the meeting.
The Board also approved and recommended for creation of CDPO at Panso Town while proposal for the creation of a Government Primary School at Nokhu Noking Village was also approved
The DPDB also appraised to the concerned department for the construction of a road at Noklak District Hq and Construction of PHC building at ITC Dan and Choklangan which were approved and recommended to the concerned department, the report said.
The house also discussed and approved formation of a Land Acquisition Committee for Noklak, the construction of a traffic island, and the construction of footpath and drainage in Noklak town.
Earlier, Longon requested all the members to work in unity and proper coordination among the members for the progress of the district.
