CRPF donates sports goods and solar lights to villagers

As part of the civic action programme, the 78th battalion CRPF today distributed sports goods to youth club of Sechu Zubza and solar lights to Jakhama village at a function here at CRPF recreation hall.  

Speaking on the occasion, 78th Battalion CRPF commandant Neeraj Yavav stated that such programme is organized as a goodwill gesture to improve the sense to fraternity among the public and also remove the gap between the local people and CRPF.

  Stating that CRPF is the “peacekeeper of the nation” and is committed to be a part of social development by organizing and promoting such type of social activities, he assured that such more programme will be done in the near future. He said that there should not be any difference between the force and the local people; rather “we all must do our best to develop the society.”  

Dr. Joyce Chara, CMO of 78th Battalion CPRF said that CRPF is a respectable force which had been rendering sincere and selfless service to the nation. Apart from their normal duties, CRPF are constantly involved in social development works, she said.
